Adaptive Behavior Development

Changing behavior patterns is crucial for long-term well-being, and I use various techniques to support this transformation. Behavioral therapy techniques, such as reinforcement schedules and habit formation strategies, are introduced to help you replace unhelpful behaviors with more adaptive ones. For instance, if you’re struggling with unhealthy coping strategies, we’ll work together to identify positive alternatives and reward yourself for small victories. Additionally, I incorporate dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tools, such as emotion regulation and distress tolerance skills, to help you manage your behavior in difficult situations, allowing you to adapt more effectively to life’s challenges and improve your overall functioning.
